In situations where cancellation becomes necessary, we follow a fair and structured policy designed to protect customer rights while ensuring smooth operational processes.
1. Cancellation by Customer
1.1 How to Request Cancellation
To cancel your solar project, please submit a formal cancellation request through any of the following official channels:

Verbal or informal requests will not be considered valid.
1.2 Cancellation Policy Based on Project Stage
Cancellation terms vary depending on the stage at which you submit your request.

Note:
If any material is received damaged or tampered, Solar Squad will replace it within the timeline communicated.
1.3 When You Can Cancel the Order
You may request cancellation only if:
- It is submitted within the permitted time period as per the above cancellation table, OR
- A formal written commitment by an authorized Solar Squad representative has not been fulfilled or addressed.
1.4 When You Cannot Cancel the Order
Cancellation or refunds will NOT be allowed if:
- You changed your mind after confirming the order
- You insisted on specific installation methods or materials against SolarSquad’s standard guidelines
- You did not clearly communicate your requirements during the project scoping
- Delays are caused by third-party agencies, including DISCOM approvals or government departments
- Project delays occur due to reasons outside the control of SolarSquad
2. Cancellation by SolarSquad
SolarSquad reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following scenarios:
- Unforeseen events such as natural calamities, labour strikes, or government restrictions
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
- Customer actions contrary to SolarSquad’s Terms & Conditions
- Logistical or operational constraints beyond our control
- Exceptional design feasibility issues discovered during project planning
In such cases:
- A fair refund will be issued after deducting a standard project onboarding fee of ₹10,000, wherever applicable.
- Customers may be provided rescheduling or alternative project options.
3. Refunds
3.1 Refund Conditions
Payments made to SolarSquad are normally non-refundable, except in cases involving technical or billing errors such as:
- Customer’s bank/card is charged multiple times due to a payment system error
- Customer is charged an excess amount in a single transaction
- Customer is charged but the order was not successfully created due to a technical glitch
In such cases, the excess amount (excluding payment gateway charges) will be refunded.
3.2 Refunds in Case of Cancellation
Refunds will only be processed when:
- The cancellation request complies with this Cancellation Policy
- The customer responds to SolarSquad’s outreach for verification
No refund will be issued if the customer fails to respond after four consecutive attempts via any communication channel (phone, WhatsApp, email, in-person visit).
